Tempered Glass VS Laminated Glass

Tempered glass is damaged by external forces and will be broken into honeycomb-like obtuse-angled small particles that are not likely to cause serious damage to the human body. The same thickness of high-strength glass is 3 to 5 times stronger than ordinary glass, and its bending strength is 3 to 5 times that of ordinary glass. The laminated glass does not disperse after crushing because the films are joined together. Laminated glass can be made into various colors and a variety of patterns of decorative glass.

In terms of strength and breakage-resistance, tempered glasses often is the first consideration. but for flexibility, UV-resistance, security and sound considerations, laminated glass is often the product of choice. Both are considered safety glazing materials and can be obtained in a variety of thicknesses and colors or tints. Both are easy to clean and maintain when installed properly.

In general, laminated glass are slightly more expensive than products of the same type and thickness. Whether laminated glass or tempered glass, its optical transparency is very good.
